You’re invited to join us in Dallas

As persecution intensifies against Christians and people of other faiths, the call to prayer and advocacy has never been more urgent. The Global Religious Freedom Gathering held on the campus of Dallas Baptist University will provide a space for believers to come together—lifting up those who suffer for their faith and bearing witness to God’s love that extends to all people, regardless of belief.

Hosted by the CAAP Network, Dallas Baptist University, and DBU’s newly established Center for Global Religious Freedom, this year’s Gathering introduces fresh workshops and interactive opportunities designed to deepen engagement and impact.

Participants will hear directly from leading voices in international religious freedom and leave equipped with practical tools and resources to support the persecuted and champion global religious freedom within their campuses, churches, and communities.

Here is an overview of the two-day program that aims to inspire prayer and advocacy for anyone facing persecution, both Christians and their non-Christian neighbors.

  • Pastors’ Panel: Perspectives on how churches can engage.

  • International Advocates Panel: Hear from Christian advocates about their motivation to stand for people of all faiths who suffer.

  • Community Conversations: Representatives from Christian and non-Christian communities share firsthand testimonies from Nigeria, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Pakistan.

  • Breakout Sessions: Explore topics including refugee resettlement, religious nationalism, and country-specific contexts in South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

  • Dinner: Presentations by 21Wilberforce, DBU’s Center for Global Religious Freedom, and the CAAP Network.

  • Advocacy Workshop: Gain practical tools and action steps for future engagement.

  • Faculty Workshop: DBU faculty discuss creative approaches to teaching about religious persecution in the classroom.

  • Latin America Conversation: Learn about persecution in Latin America and how Latino churches can pray and advocate.

  • Fellowship: Connect with Christians from all backgrounds as we explore our calling to pray and advocate for the persecuted.
